I really stayed in doubt between Locanda Delle Fate and Maxophone ( very cruel decision) both are outstanding.... although by the more symphonic-prog approach, my choice is Locanda Delle Fate !!!

I wouldn't begin to know how to answer this! For instance, Goblin's `Roller' is one of my absolute favourite albums (could be my number 1 all-time album actually), but I would never overall claim the group as one of the actual favourite Italian bands. Looking down the list, pretty much every single one of these artists has put out a top-notch album that could easily make it into a collection of essential Italian discs.... Sadly, no vote!

I listened to a lot of RPI, two years ago it was more important for me than to eat. There are 4 albums that I cherish and that are not on that list.

Did my best trying to pick artists, who seem to get the most praise. Obviously, I'm sure I did not include many great acts. Included Arti e Mestieri as a little bonus.
