Right, and Gabriel, at the end of the song, concedes to that. The ending line 'come back mom and dad' is what ties the entire song together for me.

Yeah. Such a great unique little song.

^ Never been a fan of that one. I understand what it is about, but ... let's just say that some things are better left unsaid.

The whole damn album hits me in strong places but Family Snapshot probably hits hardest.

One day  "Lead a Normal Life" just hit me in the gut.  Such a sad little song of minimalist beauty.

Intruder's my favorite, but Lead a Normal Life is a close 2nd.

Games Without Frontiers is the song that made me a Peter Gabriel fan and it gets my vote. No Self Control is not far behind.

Gah! I love that album. I picked "No Self Control" for Fripp, Kate Bush and Phil Collins' use of the gated drum effect. Did you know that no cymbals were used anywhere on the album?
...a vigorous circular motion hitherto unknown to the people of this area, but destined
to take the place of the mud shark in your mythology...

Agreed.  It usually brings a tear to my eye.

I remember the last concert in Perú, 10,000 souls rising the right hand and shouting with Peter making the cry sound with his famous semi yodel

Wow. I also remember it in the back to front tour. It was in the encores. He also played No Self Control and Family Snapshot from the same album. Still, no I Don't Remember and Games without Frontiers in the show.Confused

^ Well, if you do have a penchant for well-produced catchy, dark, and visceral experimental pop-rock with clever and meaningful lyrics, get it now.

I don't know this album, nor much from Gabriel solo... I just am not quiet so interested, for what I like least from classic Genesis is Gabriel's voice, and the album I like the least is The Lamb (which I understand is closer to what Gabriel would do solo than any other Genesis album with him). However, I may try to give this Melt album a try if I can find it, for I think it's the best rated on PA, and I heard Biko on Youtube and found it rather interesting (I have tried a few other Gabriel songs from other albums and hadn't done much for me).
