^^ many thanks for the tip off...Wink
Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

About Gigbeth, the part that Pendragon played at was the "accoustic legends" gig run by www.stillgigging.com The guy that runs it (Neil Fishwick) is a great bloke, I don't know if he plans to repeat the excercise this year, but it's worth getting in touch with him, he has several prog or prog related bands on it's listing.

Jared, I'd be carful about listing the Gigbeth festivel on here, I think Pendragon were the only prog band to play there last year, out of over 100 acts, most of which were rap or indie. It caters to local acts in the area and I think Black Sabbeth is as prog as it gets in Birmingham.

yes, another very good point...Clap

I admit I included it, on the basis that a couple of our members did attend last year, and Pendragon played... I will keep an eye out for bands playing later in the year, and take a rain check...in the meantime, does anyone else have a view on this??Embarrassed

I should add that it pisses me off the way that they foul up the traffic for a morning to hold this thing, as if the traffic wasnt bad enough, but I degress......
Spending more than I should on Prog since 2005

this is a very good question... I have been checking their website and Myspace regularly for updates, but nothing seams to have materialised.  I believe this is an annual event, so am a bit perplexed...if you do find something out about a 2008 event, please let us know...I'll also do my own homework...Wink
