I'm supposed to be off listening to some Flower Kings damn it, but just realised I'd skipped this lot.
Talk Talk I know and love. Could save myself a lot of time and simply vote.
Coal - my ears have gone off to have a sulk in another room.
IQ - hmmm. Quite like it but but but.
DDU ... oh wow. I fear the Flower Kings might have to wait.
Result is already determined so to hell with it ... DDU.

IQ, Frequency.

When he rides, my fears subside. For darkness turns once more to light. Through the skies, his white horse flies. To find a land beyond the night.

Talk Talk: I admire them, but admiration is no love; I think I'd prefer their Colour Of Spring album; respect, though! Leprous: seeing the name I expected something horrible, but I actually enjoyed listening to it Motorpsycho: seeing the name I expected... oh well, see above. IQ: I was an IQ apostate since Subterranea, but I must say: they revived something of my old love for them. So I gave them my vote.

That is a somewhat encouraging post. Personally, I like the vocals on IQ, but encouraging to hear that you like them musically.

I'd like to vote for Frequency (great IQ album) but I don't have any of the other albums mentioned.
A hurried listening from youtube wounldn't be enough.
So I won't vote in the poll (it wouldn't be fair).

I have to agree about Motorpsycho, they'd be amazing if they trimmed things down a bit. And found a more interesting bass player.

Same here, though I still think the album (the Motorpsycho one) could have done with a bit of trimming. Unfortunately, our votes aren't going to help them advance, or so it seems.

not bad... but most certainly not in the Micky-zone of stylistic preferences..
since Talk Talk and Motorpsycho aren't catching that neo album.. giving it to my favorite.
Talk Talk it is!!!

will do... the third song is the same as the sample which did nothing for me. so 4 songs it is! Not bad.. once the shock of the first song wore off. @Ian.. of course it is. metal is supposed to RAWK.. and be fun man.. that is why RATT is the greatest!

They're not that bad, I'll have to admit. Hold on, or skip, to The Valley. It's their best song, IMO.

well I consider that first song some sort of karma for busting Labrie's balls over all these years and chucking that piece of rotten fruit at the stage (was aiming for him) back in 2011... perhaps he wasn't that bad 2nd song has more of a pulse though.. giving this a 3rd song. no more unless they suddenly morph into the 2nd coming of RATT!!!
