Oh Yeah. Me too; forgot to mention saturation.  Also perhaps called "burnout".  However, sometimes the answer to this is just to listen to a different kind of music for a while, rather than no music.

I'll go with Shakespeare: "If music be the food of love, play on". Our house is full of music, including the music we play ourselves.

BaldJean and I; I am the one in blue.

No, although I probably could if I had to. I always have some music playing in my head though, so I'm never really without it.

I am subjected to work-radio 5 days a week -,only 2 or 3 songs ever that I truly like, so I always plonk some Prog on when I get home - no music, only when I'm dead.................

I suppose it depends on the day. Sometimes I walk down the streets or ride a bike (and ignore people) while listening to music, other times I'm a soulless bureaucrat in a suit.

Talking about sad days, that reminds me I actually have gone some days without music. Days when important people in my life, as some grandparents and aunts/uncles have passed away, I wouldn't really want to put music or stuff to enjoy for a time. It just didn't feel right at the moment.

Yes, Easily....but not very often.

For one of two reasons: 1) to enjoy nature (like when I'm out camping), which in its own way, is its own music (including the silence).
or 2) because I'm absorbed into audio books, or other talk/news/radio stories, and such.

A day without music is not a day at all.

Yes, but it is difficult.  It doesn't happen very often though, as I tend to play music whenever I can.

I probably could, but I don't remember the last time it happened.

I always have a song in my head, whether music is playing or not. Could be the acid and mesc from the 70s, but I'm good with that.

I could manage that, but then it would be a silly, tough philosophy period for me without the music to distract and lull me by.
