No, hell no, no hell no, they are very important to Progressive music and the evolution of it to Progressive Metal, like it or not, Rush played a big role in evolving Progressive Music into something that is beautiful today.

Underestimated maybe.. if u ask mainstream listeners about Rush they will know them alright..and they will put them next to New Order and say they're pop!

I haven't heard much Rush so far, but what I heard was very average, no more and no less, so my impression is they are overrated.
