I eventually managed to register for the draw late last night.

According to BBC news I'm one in twenty million!

Maybe becaue they're weren't wise enough to call it a day when the 70s ended? LOL

or the Yes-men never forgot that Ahmed dropped them after Time and Word but was talked into giving them one more album.

I only managed it by having Firefox and IE open and clicking refresh every few minutes.

1000 to 1 eh? Well that's a lot better than the lottery anyway.

Cor! You done well Chopper, I've been trying most afternoon / evening and still haven't managed to get on that site.Cry
I think the lottery starts just getting on the site in the first place.
Of course I'm going to keep trying but boy it's taking ages...

Does anyone know if these sites are a con or something?

I'm having no luck registering for the chance of a ticket. Even if you register successfully, I've just read that so far there's 1000 applicants for every ticket available, and the site's only been on line for a day. Even if no one else applies, the odds of 1000 to 1 against being one of the lucky 18000 are hardly instilling a sense of optimism. Still, you gotta be in it to win it, eh?

I registered but it was a bit slow and after I clicked after submitting my details it came up page can't be displayed so I'm not sure if my registration was accepted or not.

I've managed that twice so far. I'm assuming they'd send a confirmation email since you have to type in your email address but I've not had one so I'm going to keep trying.

The BBC confirm it too on their BBCi service.

BBC says it is a one off concert to pay tribute to the late founder of Atlantic Records or something like that.
