Sorry, I changed my mind.
I'd listen to Trial of tears by Dream Theater.

I would most definitely listen to This Dying Soul by Dream Theater. Only because it would pertain to my situation the most. XD

And it's a good song too =D
For the <3 of John Petrucci!

It would easily be "A Day in the Life" on the original Sgt. Pepper's vinyl. That way I'd live until I took the needle off LOL.
Barring any songs that would make me live as long as I wanted, it would be Supper's Ready. Or a peaceful song like Starálfur by Sigur Ros, Prelude: Song of the Gulls by King Crimson, or any number of The Flower Kings' songs along the lines of The Navigator. Actually, "Theme for a Hero" by TFK.
Well, after quickly browsing through a couple thousand songs, I've discovered how extremely indecisive I am.

When I want to cut it short: Goodbye Cruel World - Pink Floyd
Otherwise: White Shadow - Peter Gabriel on vinyl: the song continues in the last groove.

Or whatever I like most at the moment suprême...

Holy crap dude. If you don't know what Strawberry Fields is and you're a member of a prog site that's sad.

If you're not joking, I might as well go listen to my last song right nowDead.

Would The entire Lamb or Snow be allowed as a last song?

Top of my head... Little Wing - Derek and The Dominos' version or Last Horizon - Brian May. Maybe Who Wants To Live Forever by Queen.

The Doors- "The End".

Or "Cirrus Minor" by Pink Floyd. I love the organ part at the very end.

I'd probably choose American Pie by Don Maclean, just to remind me of the history of rock & roll from the early days to the early 70's.

For my funeral I've chosen Amazing Grace, and Stairway to Heaven for the hymns, and Great Gig in the Sky for the committal.  (My kids already know this)

...although knowing my luck, the doctor in charge of the CD deck would put on the wrong track & I'd breath my last listening to 'Illegal Alien'
