A Place in the Queue is probably my favourite album of 2006, so no contest.

Paradox hotel by a very small margin. Andy Tillison is a great talent.

I haven't had Paradox Hotel for long. It's good but not as good as A Place in the Queue yet. There's nothing to match In Earnest.

Tangent - no contest here!

For me their latest is probably better than TFK whole discography. And mind you I like Flower Kings in general. But "Place in a queue" is just much better

Paradox Hotel.
I must thank this album because it started my journey through the Flower Kings world.
One of my best 2006 till now.

Roine Stolt is a great absence in the 'Place in the Queue' album. His substitute isn't a bad guitar player, but Tillison dominates the things here, and I must confess that I don't like keyboards so much...

Paradox Hotel by a long shot. Now that Roine is gone, The Tangent are about as exciting as an olive oil enema.

The album is called 'A Place in the Queue,' by the way. In Earnest is just the name of the first track.

My vote goes to The Tangent anyway, though both albums are amazing.

This are the top albums from their genre this year, or at least the highest ranked
I for one, dont enjoy the Flower Kings that much, but I must say I find the tangent to be an awesome band, Tillison is a great composer and In Earnest is a very good album, with one of my favorite epics ever, the title track.
But, what do you think? Which do you enjoy more?
