Maybe because we refuse to be placed in a sack, I know for many people we're a Banana Republic from the third world, but hey look at another poll when asked individually.

I haven't seen any member from many countries mentioned, but when asked individually, the results are different.

You must have noticed neither Cesar Inca or myself who have been recently here voted neither the other 8 Peruvian members who have sent me PM's.

It's just a bit of national pride from our part, but I believe we're entitled to it as

This poll is unbalanced. Why aren't all the 270+ countries in the world listed? I'm furious!!!!

I heard a rumor that Florida had plans to secede from the union, and be ruled by Emperor Jeb Bush. The idea had to be abandoned, because there would have been an immediate coup by millions of retirees from the north.

The problem is, that coup would be easily crushed, and no need to use the army for that, just a few zooguards here and there... what would the problem be trying to stop thousands of 65+ people?

Specially when you live north of Miami (around Ft. Lauderdale like me), you really appreciate when, this time of year, you see non-white hair atop someone's head.

It wouldn't happen by brute force. After the constant complaints about how their kids never call, and the non-stop forced viewing of pictures of grandchildren, Jeb would cave.

And they would probably die of heatstroke too!
Have you seen the forecast? Everywhere around Florida will be at least in the low 60's, Texas in the low 30's, and we will be, happily sitting here, in the middle of January, in 80 degree weather, as usual.
(It is hot in my house now too! Hmph!)

I'm 1 state north. I live in Atlanta, Ga. I don't wish to be in this state, but I'm not about to leave the free tuition + salary that I'm getting at Ga Tech...at least not until I defend my thesis...

And I live one state north of youLOL, Tennessee. I'm actually going to back to school tomorrow in Memphis, but my family lives in Chattanooga, which is right on the border of GA.
