I`m going to see the in Kraków in PolandSmileSmileSmile I also have tickets. I can`t wait... This is my favourite band. If Peter Hammill is singing like he did in Prague (14.11.2006) then it will be my the best gig I have ever been... even without Jaxson

Since VDGG are one of my favorite bands ever I hope they come to Florida. That would be amazing.

You are going to Bydgoscz? That's were I'm goin too, but i'm afraid that there wont be posibility to buy tickets on-line from other country. I'm from Lithuania. If you now anything about this (where, how, when tickets will be available) write me PM, I would be grateful!Smile

Sorry for OT.

Of course I will be missing Jaxon (my number 2 in VDGG) but those of you who saw Peter Hammill live or even on video know that he is awesome playing VDGG material with only his piano. And we are going to see TWO such brilliant musicians with him. If you want to hear studio sound, which is grand nevertheless, just listen to studio albums. VDGG studio sound is impossible to emulate on stage, imagine Jaxon playing flute and sax at the same time and two Peters Hammills singing!!

Well, I was watching VdGG Rockpalast video (filmed in Leverkusen, Germany 2005) and if you eliminate Jackson from that show it loses half of its beauty. IMHO.

To the chappy who is going to Liverpool.. I will be sat in the front row with my buddy..

I cant wait... They are my favourite prog rock band, and "Pawn Hearts" is just amazing.. Hearing it for the first time in HMV (headphones.. they werent blasting it) was an experience in itself.. Especially with "Lighthouse.."

Yep.. Classic Rock Productions.. Keep well away from...

I wish I could afford to go to that many gigs but I have got a front row ticket for the Wolverhampton gig so that should make up for not getting to go to any other gigs. Big smile

I wont list the songs they do until the gigs are well and truly over.

Nothing worse than knowing their setlist.

I cant wait until the DVD comes out (please not on Classic Rock Productions though, I couldnt handle bad sound quality, and bad camera angles)

If we aren't gonna see the definitive H to He through Still Life lineup, how about if the band were to reunite the Vital lineup?   It may not be the one that cut Pawn Hearts, Godbluff, etc., but it was a fantastic live band. And what better way to showcase Hammill's powerful voice than with a really, really powerful band?

But Vital line-up requires a violinist in it, at least... (not speaking already of a cello)...

That's what I'm saying. Hook up with Graham Smith or Stuart Gordan, Nic Potter, and the Cellist of your choice.  Plug in, hit the fuzzbox, and turn it up!

Does any Slovak or Czech go in this concert? Im from Slovakia and I dont want to go alone. I want to go in VDGG concert in Krakow(22.04.2007). Where did you buy tickets in this concert?I dont want to buy it late, it would be my nightmare! Thx for answers...

Wobbler- I think so! I was in Prague (14.11.06) and he was phantastic, Stuart Gordon too. He still sings like a GOD.

Only once, a sold-out concert at New York's 2,000 seat Beacon Theater on October 18, 1976.
