Both have a similar rating and share things in common, but the latter is sometimes considered more friendly and the former the more innovating one.
 
Still, I think Man-Child is the better album, more refined less incosistent.
 
Thrust is probably their best in terms of composition and playing.

The Headhunters. Even better is the album of the Headhunters themselves; Survival of the fittest.

in fact, i prefer the live version of Watermelon Man from Flood than the studio. But the original is the best (i just recently learned the song on guitar; very fun)
