Yes indeed Snowtorch will be one of the CDs of the year from all reports. You are gaining quite a fan base right here Phideaux! I was deeply moved and stunned by the masterpiece Doomsday Afternoon. If its anything like that it will be a winner in my eyes. I just loved the diversity and quality of DD and I believe from what I have heard Snowtorch will live up to that standard. When great effort is put in, a deep comitment tothe music, and above all passion into a project it really shines through and it is appreciated by all those who listen. All the best on this new release, I hope to review it soon.

Great news Phideaux Big smile. Is the vinyl version going to be available at the same time as the CD version?

I think the vinyl will take two extra weeks.  Sadly!  I am excited for the vinly release though as this will be our first LP!!!  It will transport me back to my youth with gatefold covers and artwork to lose myself in...  I can't wait to get the Doomsday and Number Seven LP versions prepared!

That's not too bad at all, I'm excited for it too, even though I was born right before CDs took over. And Number Seven and Doomsday on vinyl - wow - that's also awesome news!!! Shocked

Congrats on your guys' first LP!

So Snowtorch on CD will be available, just delayed?  I just discovered Phideaux's music and am very interested in this album after reading nothing but stellar reviews on it.

Correct, but so we would keep our "date" with destiny and still get out album out at the spring equinox (which was our agreement with the spirits of the forest) we put it up on bandcamp for immediate download...

Okay, cool.  Also, is Doomsday Afternoon a limited release or something, because I can't seem to find it on CD anywhere!  I'm one of those that has to have a physical copy of everything I like.

we have sold out that album and are in the process of remastering it for a new release.  We have also decided to convert our albums into cardboard sleeves like you would get with those collectible Mini LP edition CDs from Japan.  So, once we sell out a title, we will upgrade it.  Doom is next in line.

Dammit!!!LOL

Is there going to be any kind of exchange program? Tongue

And if I have your attention, do you have any spare copies of the Number Seven CD booklet?  Mine was ruined in the flood 9/21/09.

not for the cover, but you'll be able to get an upgraded copy of the sound via free download of .wav or flac files.  We definitely are doing this to improve the sound (and visual).  So, we will want folks who have already bought the album to be able to hear the new editions.  Much like we did with Number Seven where we offered folks either a trade of one disc for a new one, or a download.  Of course, that remastering was done so close to the initial release that it would have been incorrect to expect folks to buy the album a second time.

Doom has been out of print for a few months now.  At any rate, we are upfront about these sonic upgrades and we always offer our listeners the option to burn a new copy of the sound.  Of course, when we upgrade the sound it doesn't mean a recall.  :-)

I have the original edition of Number 7, so where can I download the upgraded copy?

Just listened once on Bandcamp and must say I'm impressed.
I was disappointed with the previous albums (Doomsday included) but this has a very immediate appeal to the prog-person in me.
Must listen to Doomsday again...

If Snowtorch is half as good as Number Seven, Doomsday Afternoon or for that matter The Great Leap, I'll be a happy bunny Approve.

Bonnek, I'm not sure you will necessarily like this one.  It has a lot in common with Number Seven and Doomsday.  However, if you liked what you heard on here, then it's pretty much of that ilk.

I've listened to Snowtorch 4 times now and I think it's safe to say you've done it again Phideaux. Absolutely beautiful. Clap

You can rest assured that I will continue to buy everything you put out. LOL

A few more reviews and the album will be No1 PA Prog album of all time. Made it to position No7 already.
