Another one featured on the front-page right now, is Chris' Os Mundi review. I am proud to be the root of such a wonderful review, since I was the one recommending it to him... All kidding aside, he is one heck of a writer, and I have never ever come across any of his work that wasn't stellar.
So Chris, if you are reading this, I ain't in a million years reviewing that album - you ruined the pleasure for me... Thanks, buddy!

Thanks frippism!

I always want to read intelligently written reviews and I love the research put into some of Finnforest's reviews.

Conor Fynes has a great reviewing style, and I always get something out of SouthSideoftheSky's reviews, and EasyLivin, and Sean Trane and ZowieZiggy are always a delight to read.

There are so many more of course but those stand out to me.  I like reviews that are written well grammatically and without spelling errors. I like reviews that tell me track by track whats on the album, and reviews that stand out are those that go into some detail as to what the music is like, the lyrics and the concepts.

I would like to point out another fine reviewer who doesn't seem to get to much attention. That would be Aussie-Byrd Brother. Great, well written reviews, and I hope he gets upgraded to the status of Prog Reviewer, because he deserves it.

Out of all his great reviews here are some of my favs.

Thanks Sheavy, Finnforest, Guldbamsen, Dreadpirateroberts, and Atomic, I really appreciate your kind words and support! I greatly admire all you guys, and it's been a privilege being on this site with you all.

David - I owe you big time for the K.Schulze help!

Finnforest - I still owe you that second Jacula review - I've been slowly piecing it together recently!

Atomic - It was great catching up and saying hello at the Yes show we saw in Melbourne!

Catch all of you around on the Archives!

Being a newbie/groupie member, but have used the site for years to see reviews for groups or albums before I purchased them, I often found Gatot's reviews and ratings most helpful and insightful for my interests.

Thanks Gatot.

The time here is approaching 5 in the morning, but before I turn in, I would like to revive a wonderful thread and highlight two specific reviewers who recently have written some awesome stuff. Steve (HolyMoly) just did some brilliant Captain Beefheart ones, which really connected with me on a personal level. Many thanks Steve. You are rare vegetable my man.

Michael (Aussie-Byrd-Brother) continues to flourish the front-page with well written, imaginative and always highly interesting reviews. Big round of applause! I really think you should be prog reviewer.
That is all for me folks. I am hitting the sack with a dreamy Krautrock album in my ears. Where are you Alpha Centauri?!?!?!

Argghhhh nuts!!
The moment I logged off I suddenly remembered Jim's recent Zaum review, which I ate hook line and sinker. Yummy. Aaaaaand the always entertaining Darryl who just now posted one for FM. I have a similar taste in music as him, but I still think he writes brilliant reviews regardless of ones tastes.
That is the only downfall of this thread. You are afraid of leaving people out of the mix, because let's face it: we've got some fantastic writers here on PA.

Allright, now I am really going to sleep....

I think your reviews are excellent, Austin.  Very descriptive and eloquent while also being concise.

Been meaning to pop in here to highlight some reviewers for a while... I have to say that Rob (Epignosis) is one of my favorite reviewers; his reviews are easy to read and very descriptive of the sound of the album, so much so that I can read one of his negative reviews and decide from my reading that I think I would like the album!

Scott's (ACR'S) reviews are excellent as well, they are very well-written and insightful and appeal to my love of many words.

Thanks man, means a lot. I've been disappointed with my reviews though recently so i took a break and sadly haven't gotten the motivation to do it again.

And i honestly liked your Epignosis review. Great phrasing and pacing throughout the review.
