A Change of Seasons.
Metropolis pt 1 gets the job done in over half the time. Octavarium should have been here instead.

Of these two, Metropolis. ACOS is definitely one of the greatest things
DT ever did; it combines both the technicality and emotional resonance
that epitomizes the band at its best. Vastly, vastly superior to
Octavarium, in my opinion.

Almost the path I took. Certainly not an easy choice.

Love both of them so much. But the one thing that ACOS has that no other DT track has is such an emotional depth and well written poetic lyrics. Metropolis gets my vote.

I Love ACoS. I really like Metropolis. Is as simple as that. I would voted for Take theTime, Under a Glass Moon or Learning to LIve before Metropolis.
As tough as it gets, Metropolis is far from being in my top10, but I still like it at all. But, as is mentioned here, ACoS has a lot more emotion and it has the technicallity that we all know and love about DT.
Maybe tonight I will spin that wonderful masterpiece to celebrate.

Metropolis. I wish Octavarium was the winner of the final 3. In the Name of God is my fave DT song.

It call comes down to this. Metropolis pretty much defines Dream Theater for me in it's 10 minute format, but it doesn't even hold a candle, at least for me personally, to the epic grandeur that is A Change Of Seasons.

Agreed. Octavarium is better than A Change of Seasons. Not sure if it's better than Metropolis.

I would have liked Octavarium winning this polls too. As it is, I like Metropolis slightly better... I think. So I'm voting for A Change of Seasons.

If I could vote, it'd be Metropolis. For me the best two things DT made are probably Learning to Live and ACOS.
Somewhat offtopic: I'm quite surprised to see Blind Faith so high. I always liked it, but I generally see it very "unimportant" in reviews and such.
