any genres are included from prog to disco, country to hiphop

only requirment is songs were the rhodes are an important feature to the overall sound of the song, and aritsts whom are most prominent in use of rhodes (Magma, Steely Dan, 10cc, Hancock, Chich Corea), or other bands which have used it in an invetive way, that defies Fender Rhodes as an instruments

i list some five songs i like

Goucho - Steely Dan
Aja -ditto
10cc - I am not in love
Gentle Giant - Edge of Twilight
Elton John - Daniel

I'm probably partial to early stuff by Return to Forever (Chick Corea), Headhunters (Herbie Hancock), and Weather Report (Joe Zawinul).  Those three probably set the Rhodes standard until they got sidetracked with synths.  Al Stewart's Year of the Cat has a lot of nice Rhodes on it.
Can you tell me where we're headin'?
Lincoln County Road or Armageddon.

I've been on a Rhodes kick of late....the Rhodes makes even Bob James and Deodato sound good!  Still, the king of the Rhodes was Herbie, especially on the third and fourth Mwandishi albums.

I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....

Kerry Minnear delivered some great Proggy Rhodes work if I'm not mistaken.

Though, I really prefer the jazz masters on the Rhodes: Corea, Hancock, Ratledge, Duke, Stewart et al..

Was that a rhodes somewhere in the first half of Supper's Ready or some other electric piano? It's the same instrument that's on Riders on the storm but I'm not positive it's a rhodes.

It had that sound for sure with some wobbly effects going on also....
How about these: The Beatles- Get back
                                  Traffic - Empty Pages
Alan Parsons- Eye in the Sky (not sure on this one..)
One does nothing yet nothing is left undone.

I prefer a Wurlitzer e-piano - though Rhodes produces an awesome sound. I would say 'Riders On The Storm' (Doors) and 'Sheep' (Floyd) but many Canterbury acts utilise Rhodes - Soft Machine (after their 'Fourth' album, since Ratledge used a Hohner Pianet until their 'Fifth' album). Alan Gowen also loved his Rhodes piano.
