Tangerine Dream is a great band. Specially 74-94 era. I think they are underrated band in PA.

I think Tarkus works better as a whole piece than Supper's Ready, but I think the latter is a lot more emotionally resonating, so it gets my vote.

I like both, but I'll vote for Supper's Ready.

When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light. Through the skies, his white horse flies. To find a land beyond the night. |

It took me many years to get it, I have to admit. But when it finally clicked: Wow. Just don't give up on it...

I prefer Suppers Ready. I'm not a huge fan of ELP, but Tarkus is almost a 5 star track..

Not a big ELP fan at all, but Tarkus is an amazing piece of music. But the album stinks.
Supper's Ready is great, but I don't love it. However, it's on a better album than Tarkus is on. |

Even though it's being called, I feel it's too close to call (wouldn't want to slight either by picking either).

Walking across my sitting-room, will vote for Supper's Ready
SR is not my favorite Genesis song, but never liked Tarkus at all. Iván

Well I voted Tarkus as long as I can have the live version over the slightly bland studio version. Suppers Ready is also marvellous of course

I'm a bit surprised Tarkus got 30 votes.....since so many here dislike ELP in general.
