^ I'm glad to be a member of the club. Is there a secret handshake?
Today: Porcupine Tree - Signify Heldon - Stand By (Nice "drumed" electronic music, which slightly reminded me of Space Art. The second track is quite heavy and not much electronic though) Steve Hackett - Please Don't Touch! (Very poppy, but there are 2 or 3 interesting tracks in it) Space Art - Trip in the Center Head Kansas - Song for America (A logical continuation of the first album, although there's much more maturity in this album and the prodution is really good)

Sam, I'll post my (fairly average) review for `Please Don't Touch' in the next couple of days, let's see if your `2 or 3 interesting tracks' are the same as my 2 or 3!
Love `Song For America', you're spot on about it maturing their sound. Be a little careful of their next album `Masque', bit of a step back without actually being a bad album. Not quite as `proggy'as the first two or following two, but plenty of fine moments pop up throughout.

I'm counting on it then. I did find the album enjoyable though: comparing to other "prog pop" albums, I liked this one better than Roxy Music's 'Avalon'
Only listened to "The Masquerade Overture" from Pendragon today: it's so much better than the previous album, there's so much emotion in their playing, although I think some keyboard sounds seem quite dated, but it's the best Neo-Prog album I listened (I wasn't constantly looking at the remaining time on this one )
Had a great day listening to some elite vocalists.
Threshold--for the journey (this one is climbing up my 2014 list. ;) YES--Close To The Edge ( I've been hard on the title track in the past, but lately I've been really warming up to it in light of some new sound equipment to really and fully appreciate what I'm hearing. Chris Squire's bass is exceptional. ;) A.B.W.H-- S/T ( still l love it. Have lots of respect for it except Teakbois. It's lame) Threshold--Dead Reckoning ( MAC's last album before he went to the great gig in the sky. Truly a pleasure) Magenta--Seven ( Christina Booth's vocals are her best on this album I believe. ;)

Cool! You're checking out some of those electronic recs
Glad you liked that Beausoleil album. I promise you, it gets better with every spin. The finale with the cathartic psychedelic guitars taking off are absolutely gorgeous. Reminds me of Grobschnitt's Solar Music and Embryo from Floyd too.

^ Yep, I'm on the second half of your recommendations I never listened to that Floyd song, it's from what album?
Today so far: Nektar
- Journey... (I was waiting for a psychedelic mood to listen to this
one. Amazing album, if it wasn't for the drums (nobody plays like Nick
Mason ), I could believe it was from PF) Roberto Cacciapaglia - Sonanze (Is it okay to call it Symphonic Electronic? )

What?!?!? You don't know Embryo??
This is obviously a case of bad upbringing and I would advise you to sue everyone around you
Embryo was a recurring live tune Floyd played around with during the start of the 70s. Most folks who own a copy of the track probably have the BBC Recordings, which for some remarkable reason haven't been made available as an official Floyd release Insane if you ask me.
Anyway, you cannot possibly call yourself a proper Floyd fan until you hear this track (only kidding.......possibly)

I know the song but never listened properly. I think I listened to part of it once but I wasn't into their earlier music back then. Thanks for the video, I'll listen after finishing Sonanze.
