Topic: A 2000 - 2004 Albums Poll Posted: March 26 2015 at 07:47 |
20 albums, there will be more, choose a favorite, don't abuse the "other" option just because it's there , only if you dislike my choices.

haven't listened to The Mars Volta in years What's "Choirs"? 5 out of 20 is neo-prog only. I do listen to progressive metal, let's see who else is. Fates Warning got their first vote in my polls. I applaud who did that.

First vote for Happy the Man. A unique, largely overlooked, and mostly instrumental album with very tight musicianship and performances. Runners Up include Peter Gabriel, Spock's Beard, Transatlantic, and IQ.

This was tough, In Absentia or Train of Thought. I picked Train of Thought, probably my favorite DT album and doesn't get the love it deserves.

None of the above. Radiohead's Kid A tops my list, but Kayo Dot's Choirs of the Eye second.

I could easily have gone with IQ, Riverside, Pendragon, Marillion, Spock's Beard, Magenta or Transatlantic.
But Camel's last album of new material simply blows me away. If the last new thing they ever recorded had been For Today, it would have been the perfect end to their career. Here's hoping it won't be!
