"Just go in there, and tell her the Doctor would like to see her." "Doctor Who?" "Just the Doctor. Tell her exactly that. The Doctor."

Three of my favorites.......if you like horror adventure set in Victorian England I highly recommend 'Penny Dreadful'. |
I may check it out. Thanks.

They are broadcasting older seasons of Madmen here; loving it. Loved House of Cards s3 and also the previous. Loved Boston Legal as well. Wanted to watch The Americans but couldn't find the time.

If you like Penny Dreadful check out The Nick, another excellent Victorian classic.

^^^ I didn't follow Madmen after season one. I liked House Of Cards seasons one and two but I haven't bought three yet. No one can be ruthless like Kevin Spacey can. I just finished season two of The Americans and will get three when it comes out. The show started out a little slow but picked up quickly.

Yup, Spacey's Da Man! It's interesting that an actor who has been in so many films and some very good ones at that is probably having his best moments in a TV series. But as a friend said to me, it's hard to separate Spacey from Frank Underwood. The way Douglas became Gordon Gekko or how Antony Hopkins essayed Hannibal Lecter.

It's a shame that Kim Bodnia won't appear in Bron/Broen 3rd season

^ Since he plays a main character in the show, I bet they didn't kill him off, right?

^There is nothing impossible when it comes to serial drama characters. Maybe he'll return someday later or maybe he won't, but the upcoming season is going to be concentrated on Sofia Helin.

I don't know, but I can imagine ratings and viewership plummeting when you kill off John Reese in POI. I can't imagine any other outcome.

UK series Death In Paradise killed off its lead character at the beginning of Series 3 and obviously Dr Who "kills" its main character regularly. Then in killing Booby Ewing Dallas proved that nothing is impossible in Tellyland and it was all just a dream...

Funniest TV show of all time....BBC's Coupling. Which, btw for you Dr. Who fans was the brain child and creation of Steven Moffat. Trust me, his writing was at its peak on Coupling. I've seen every show dozens of times, and I still have to pause the DVD player to catch my breath from laughing so hard.
My favorite american show of all time would be Firefly.
The only new show I've been watching is Orphan Black. Can't wait for the new episode tonight!

I've breezed my way through Daredevil, and I hope season two will come on soon. (Getting a little tired of the sci-fi aspect of the Marvel and DC shows, I must admit, but that's just me.)
I've also marathon'd my way through season one of Jessica Jones, as well as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Carter, Gotham, Arrow, and The Flash.

^ I'm curious about how SyFy handles Clarke. I'll definitely be checking it out. "Daredevil" was fantastic. Lots of the Marvel street level heroes are some of my favorites, and I'm so impressed with what they're doing on Netflix. "Jessica Jones" has been extremely good, too. I have 1 episode left that I hope to watch tonight. Looking forward with great anticipation to the Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Punisher series they're developing, and how they will all fold into The Defenders series where they all come together. Beyond that, they'll figure into the Marvel movie universe during the Infinity War movies. I'm such an excited comic geek, these past several and next coming few years are a comic fans dream. Since I jumped to this thread from the link in the newer Netflix rec thread, and since the OP there mentioned "Orange is the New Black", I want to recommend the Australian women's prison series, "Wentworth". Pound for pound, if it has to be compared with OITNB, it's the stronger show. There are 3 seasons out now, definitely worth checking out.
