A fantastic race at Toronto today, overcast and a little bit of rain again.

CFH finishes one two with Josef Newgarden winning and Luca Filippi bringing home second. A much needed boost seeing as they haven't done well at all since winning at barber. There was some fantastic racing going on throughout the whole race.

I've got a lot of respect for Patrick Dempsey, who's effectively packed in the acting now to focus on his race driving and is getting faster every year. A well deserved podium.

It was on the lead lap still at that time and the Audi was faster during the day than the Porsche so we would have had a grand stand finish without that.

An excellent race but not quit a match for the epics of 2008/11.

Yeah that would've been awesome!

D'oh! Missed Indy again, was doing so good with it to boot. Cool to see Newgarden win again, nice to see him getting some strong results because never thought tooo highly of him, at least based off results but he's running well this year. Still wonder if he's motivated to grab that spot on the American F1 team, though one must assume Conor Daly and Alex Rossi with their Euro experience are favored?

^Sorry JJ, but Daly, Newgarden and Rossi are too old for F1. Wink

Quite a race from Austria!
Huge Kudos to Nico for the great start, defense, and managing to do just enough all race to never be threatened, (then Lewis' penalty sealed it). I assumed Lewis would nab him on those early attacks, or after he built a few second lead and Lewis started to claw it back I again figured, well here we go again, so nice to see Nico who is clearly the #2 talent still put up some fight and at least keep the title technically open.

Awesome podium for Massa! Ferrari really blew it with that pit stop but thats how it goes.
Maldonado grabbed another points finish though he seemed VERY determined to wreck outLOL

Bizarre stuff with Kimi and Alonso...cool results too for Hulk and Verstappen

Could be Kimi just lost grip with the hard tyres or maybe Ferrari had messed up some settings again. Couldn't really see when or why Alonso hit him though.

Great driving from Massa, Vettel got pretty close near the end.

Shocked True.

It seems Kimi said he just lost it, perhaps a team mistake in settings.

Even if the start torque map is a bit harsh it was still Kimi's mistake, he had plenty of time to get out of the throttle there, instead he got a big tank slapper, over corrected and collected Alonso on the way out. As Kimi said on Saturday "How the f**k did that happen?"

Great drive from Hulk, thats 3 good races on 3 weekends in 2 different cars, and Maldonado, who went wheel to wheel with loads of people and didn't hit anyone!

I don't know if anyone else watched that insane Indycar race from Fontana, but that was awesome!  Reminded me of the IRL days on ovals.  A lot of close, hair-raising battles!  Of course, the drivers don't like it at all and voiced their concerns, but from a fans standpoint, I thought it was exciting as hell!  I never want to see a driver hurt, either (I was at the Vegas race in 2011, and it was a horrible feeling), but part of the thrill (for me, anyway) is that these guys have huge balls to do what they do as close to each other as they do it.  It's fun to watch close, tight racing where they can actually pass and make moves.

Would have liked to catch it...I enjoy Indy on the ovals.

We went to the Cup race in Sonoma this afternoon and it was another fun one!  I had high hopes for a solid day for Gordon (possibly a win), but what was I thinking!?  Of course they couldn't figure their s#*! out, but hey, Kyle Busch stealing a win from Jimmie Johnson made it all better.  Now, it's time to soak in some aloe as our sunscreen didn't work at all.  I look like Angry.

Sweet pic.

I hope Kyle makes the chase and wins the championship just to show how asinine the new points system is.

Great race from Fontana yesterday but you could sense that these cars are on the edge of disaster. Four wide passing with indycars is wonderful to watch on a high banked oval, however, I'm torn over this dilemma with driver safety.
