Thanks Jim! Yes there is solace in that - I had Tui just one month shy of 20 years. He was an amazing cat. His favorite piece - probably Steeleye Span doing "Saucy Sailor/Black Freighter" on topic, favorite Renaissance song was "On the Frontier". He loved female and male voices intermingled. He found Gentle Giant rather abrasive

Wonderful looking cat; my very deep condolences, Ken, my tabby died two years ago and I still miss him a whole lot.

Renaissance it is for me. It's not perfect, but the great parts are really great. For me the best GG are the first 2 albums, and then they started getting gradually more un-melodious to my taste... Octopus was the last album I got from them... it's still got some parts that I like, but not nearly as much as the ones from Scheherazade.

Funny, the one time I don't vote for Renaissance, they hold up pretty well against one of the biggies. Thought this was going to be a rout. I was wrong.

thanks Micky he was always the boss no matter whom he lived with, and he did it by being his naturally social, occasionally demanding, self. His last few years were with just me, and he seemed to like that just fine
