You know what, a large number of the French police were on the streets of Paris on Friday night risking their lives to try and save people. You might want to think about that before taking cheap shots at them from the safety of your armchair.

And, while I'm here, I want to say that the evident glee with which you are using this tragedy to make political capital with the bodies barely cold yet turns my stomach.

It's not significant at all.

If you surveyed everyone in the UK and asked them do they want to bring back hanging, millions would say 'Yes' but no government would ever re-instate it. It's not about what the people want. it's about what the establishment feels it needs to do, and the policy of "encouraged" multiculturalism is a cross party initiative. Those who oppose it are on the lunatic fringe of the parties.

We have many members on here from the middle east, also many who are Western European etc. of Muslim Religion, how would you feel if you were in their shoes right now with a post like this?

^Well said Brian. The "let's get all Muslims out" thing is not a consequence. The real idea is "NOW this gives me justification to say what I always wanted which is let's get the Muslims out". 

From a Canadian perspective, our government want bring 25,000 refugees per year... They will pay food, loan a shelter, give them money etc...

Over terrorism issues, this will cost us a ton of money, most don't speak our languages, their conception of the world is diametrically different (religion doesn't really exist where I live... And I like it that way!) and common feeling is that it's gonna end up in ghettoisation.

I'd like to help, but not necessarily welcome them, terrorism is just one aspect... It's highly unfair for poor people who pay taxes since they are born and homeless people who will spent night outside at -35 Celsius  during the winter.
