I love Ant more than any artist, Harmonium's amazing, Trespass was never my favorite, but Red Queen is the one-and-only, the creme-de-la-crop. A masterpiece of masterpieces. Easy pick!

Gryphon ~ Red Queen to Gryphon three is very gud. Don't know Anthony Philips ~ The Geese and The Ghost & Harmonium ~ blah! blah! blah! Doesn't matter though, cause Trespass is so good. Genesis' first masterpiece.

You can tell from the cover.

Though I like all these albums, Trespass is my favourite, though only a part of it evokes a "pastoral" mood, while "The Geese and the Ghost" has a pastoral atmosphere throughout the album.

Yeah, this song would seem pastoral enough indeed, as well as parts of Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast, and perhaps even "If"... but not the title track at all.
