I forgot about Echolyn and Egg. Those are up there after the ones I listed. I couldn't list every E band of course. Thanks for mentioning some others like Earth and Fire, Ekseption etc.
I voted for ELP. Eloy are great too. ELO is good but I enjoy the other two more.

Not sure if ELO is progressive, more classic rock genre.

I'm voting other for Eskaton, and Eider Stellaire is another Zeuhl band I love. Also love Embryo and Elektriktus. And Etron Fou Leloublan deserves a nod.

I like some ELP, some ELO and some Eloy.
But I prefer Ekseption and (The) Enid to all of them.

I'll probably end up voting for ELP, but it's really a tie between them and Eloy.

Hey it's good to hear about others that some on here might not know about. I forgot about the Enid.

Egg over any of these, but I'm not a die-hard fan of any of E prog groups I know of (non-prog is another matter)

This is not easy...
As a teenager in the early 80's I discovered ELO and they were one of my favorites. In the 90's Eloy became one of the bands I most listened to. Still love Inside, Floating, Power and the passion... Vote: Eloy +1 Someone mencioned East of Eden, which is also a great great E band.

ELP are from England though. ;) Anyway, Easter Island are good. Very under rated band but I only know their one album from the seventies.

I picked "other" but man it's tough to pick between Embryo and Eskaton. Eider Stellaire, Egg, East Of Eden, Elephant9 would all be ones I'd pick over ELP and Eloy with ELO down the list a long ways.
