Oi. I just thought of something.
The days we'll soon spend mourning Prog musicians who have passed on.
The old cursed lot.

hmm, I don't like that it's almost impossible for me to see any of them live ..... and that too many bands stop playing together too soon  ..... and that i have problems to get other people into it ......

but the rest!

The only thing I hate about prog is that no one likes it. Except us..

I hate the way prog is used as a joke, or a way of illustrating how bad the 70' were on those sh!tty top ten programs on Channel 4 (UK)

Apart from that, prog is totally un-cool, nerdish, pretentious, ponderous, pompous music played by failed middle class jazz musicians who got involved with the wrong crowd at university and took too much acid

But thats never stopped me from liking it

Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

oh, another thing I don't like is, while they are still a good band, Tool's lyrics blow.

DT was good too!

I hate the pompous, conceded, humourless, over sensitive people who listen to the genre of prog.

I saw Yes live in August... almost shat my pants when they started CTTP

But, speaking of Yes, some of the great prog acts have hosted some of the worst lyricists. KC, Yes, ELP... horrible. Not that all of those acts had intended for their lyricism to be great, but really... the whole rearrange your liver to the solid mental grace from CTTP still get me. I'd love an explanation from Mr.Anderson about that one.

Just to add to the topic... what I hate about prog... the fact that even for those prog bands that are still active and playing... seeing them live is still not easy.
