I love Focus, but I'm more into Nektar and I like their music more, so they get my vote.

Focus by far. Only Nektar that doesn't bore me to tears is "Tab In The Ocean."

Nektar's debut is a stupendous creation. Aside from that, they're pretty uneven. Roye Albrighton is an excellent talent. But Jan Akkerman is the third best guitarist ever, and Focus was more consistent. So, Focus.

I love Remember the Future by Nektar but to me nothing else is really much good. Focus doesn't have any album I like as much, but they have a number of good albums, so Focus for me

Are some of you who are voting for Focus not even familiar with Nektar(besides maybe just one or two albums)?

Equal for me......I like albums by both and not impressed with other albums by both.

My limited familiarity with both groups forces me to consider this as a Moving Waves vs Journey To The Centre Of The Eye poll. I like Moving Waves, but Journey To The Centre Of The Eye is a very special album to me, indeed one of my all-time favourite albums, so it gets my vote without hesitation. |

While I feel Focus is the more talented band, I like Nektar's style of music more.

Despite some fine playing by Focus' Ackerman, it's Nektar. Very surprised by the standings thus far.
