Stlll an easy pick, like most polls in this series so far. I like Aqualung, but it could be better matched up against Caress of Steel or A Farewell to Kings to make this one harder. Moving Pictures for me.

Apples and Oranges! Eighties 'Revisionist' Prog versus Blues/Prog Crossover Both have each have 2 of the greatest pieces of the 20th century but overall will always be Rush. For me the top five Rush albums beat anything by Tull including TAAB.

This one is difficult, since both are great indeed. I guess I should choose Moving Pictures, since on Aqualung I actually prefer every song on a live or alternate version.

Aqualung for me. Rush reached their peak with Hemispheres and then there was a noticeable decline in quality. I do like post-hem Rush, but it's not the same...

Aqualung is a fantastic album. A+++. One of the greatest concept albums ever written. Brilliantly written, perfectly crafted, and superbly delivered.
But Moving Pictures is my all time #1. |

Moving Pictures. Jethro Tull will never mean as much to me as Rush, and MP is one of their most enthralling albums. Aqualung's great from start to finish though.
