Paul is allowed to have an opinion  personally I do like the the Heaven and Earth album but got bored with Fly From Here very quickly. Both are probably 3 star albums in my book. 'Prog lite' although Paul is not one for prog metal or eclectic prog. Paul , check out some Lonely Robot or Mute Gods. Both excellent modern day projects that may suit your taste better, and also please stop winding up Cristi

I like 'Fly From Here' a lot, very enjoyable and reminiscent of 70s Yes, can't say the same for 'Heaven and Earth' but this doesn't matter at all. There are no wrong answers to this question, after all...

Steven Wilson tops it easily.
Wobbler would’ve been a contender for the top spot if I’d discovered them sooner, but it’s still tough to beat SW. I didn’t love To The Bone, but all his other albums are good. Others: Opeth Riverside IQ Thank You Scientist Jordsjø Gazpacho The Pineapple Thief Soen Barock Projeckt I’ve mostly based this on what I’ve listened to the most. I would say Porcupine Tree, but since their last release was 2009 and we are talking 2010-2019, they don't count.
*Rush would be up there with Clockwork Angels and their final tour, closing the doors on an institution of progressive rock music. *Riverside starting with Shrine Of New Generation Slaves. *I'd have to go with The Pineapple Thief as my favorite, starting with the excellent Someone Here Is Missing and finishing with Dissolution. Thanks Catcher. That's the way I interpreted the question, and I think Jon Anderson deserves an honourable mention too for Survival & Other Stories (2011) and 1000 Hands: Chapter One (2019), even though he's not a band. And not forgetting Steve Hackett, who's released no less than five very good albums in a row between 2011 & 2019.
