interesting selection. I’ve gone with Wisdom of Crowds. I’d love to hear a sequel to that!

Admittedly I have heard very little on the list, and so some might say that I should abstain from voting, but I like Dredg - El Cielo and so gave it a rather ill-list-informed vote.
Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I observed before. It can be much like that with music for me; immersed in experiencing the moment.

Wow, I have none of these, I'll abstain.

Whoops! I thought I had! I must have made my selection, but forgotten to push the “cast my vote” button.

For the record, this is one of very few polls where I seem to have listened to almost every album. Most of the time I don’t bother to vote, because I don’t feel I have listened to enough of the albums for my vote to be “fair”. 😄

Shall we take guesses at what Paul might vote for?

There are a few British bands in this poll, but I’m thinking maybe The Watch (with their Genesis stylings) might be closest to his comfort zone, despite their nationality?

Hence why I said “despite their nationality”! 😜

Paul likes Ayreon, so he obviously doesn’t listen to only British artists.....
(And The Watch do a wonderful impression of a British band! 🤪)

oh, sorry, should have paid more attention. EmbarrassedSmile

Ayreon is a hit and miss with me, and last 3 albums did nothing for me. The band has become too predictable. I rarely listen to Ayreon.

Perhaps I’ve just not listened to the right Ayreon, but it’s all miss for me, with not the slightest hint of hit. 🧀 🌽

Paul will likely not vote but post referencing his own polls, tell us how many albums he's listened to recently (all British), and mention his youtube channels. Just a guess.

Well, I'm nothing if not predictable, because I don't know any of the artists or albums in this poll, although I would've voted for Ayreon, Dream Theater or Porcupine Tree again if they'd been in the poll. Wink

Are they the only post ‘70s bands you know, then?

You should probably give The Watch a listen. I suspect you’d like them.
Read the reviews on their PA page if you want to see more on why.

First vote for 'Anoraknophobia'; I must admit, I don't know most of these albums.

One of my least favourite TPT albums (though even a least favourite TPT album is still better than a lot of other albums in this list!).

I presume if you like TPT, you’ve heard Wisdom of Crowds, too? Not to your taste? Or simply not as great in your affections as TPT?
