No contest here. I sent some love to Union, who usually doesn't get much of it.

It’s quite obvious that Close to the Edge is going to take this one. The others, except for Open Your Eyes, are quite good too.

I think it's ridiculous that anyone seriously rates 90125 above CTTE.

CttE would win against almost any album, it doesn't need help putting it against such obvious weaker albums.

I love both CTTE and 90125.
It’s like comparing apples and oranges. I can’t do it. Sorry! One represents a pinnacle of 1970s Prog (with incredible percussion) and the other represents a pinnacle of 1980s Prog. Both Steve Howe and Trevor Rabin are amazing guitarists with very different styles. Nope! I’m not going there. Respect for both! Respect! And enough with the 90210 business. There’s a really good book about the making of CTTE if you are interested in that sort of thing (I am!). |

Sedmikrasky does not belong, because it is not a Yes album. It is a movie.

Actually, four of them do not belong. You simply can't measure any of these against Close to the Edge.

I love 90125 to death, it's almost more personal to me. But I just can't pretend CTTE isn't better.

Porg for short. My love of music doesn't end with prog! Feel free to discuss all sorts of music with me. Odds are I'll give it a chance if I haven't already! :)
