All are really good albums that I really like. My favorite from this group is Ayreon's The Human Equation.

3 Way tie between Anathema, IQ & Dream Theater to be fair... went with Weather Systems today
Nightwish, Marillion, Leprous in that order... Don't know Moon Safari.. Never really got the fuss about It Bites, though I've tried that album and others.. and I think most PA'er know what I think about Ayreon....

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

I was waiting to see how long it would take Cristi to tell me I'd got Images & Words the wrong way 'round.

I went with Weather Systems, though The Road of Bones is great too. From Marillion I would have chosen Script for a Jesters Tear, from Nightwish Imaginaerum, and I don't know Empath, but I do love Terria from Devin Townsend. Of all these bands my favourite would be Dream Theater, but I don't think they have one single whole album I love as much as some of these.

All of these are out of my wheelhouse, but I like to think that I am pretty liberal-minded and open-eared. I do like to expand my tastes and try new-to-me things, I had heard music off some of these, but I spent time last night listening to a considerable amount of music from all of these albums, and again more today. I thought it might be rather anathema to me, but the one I not only weathered but warmed up to the most is Weather Systems.
