No no. Website is not mine and I'll certainly not fight for it. But Ijust think this is inconsistency. One release can be placed in the same entry even if there's several discs and different artwork but another cant even if it could easily put together in the same entry and have the same artwork.

But if that's how it is that's how it is, period.

The site is not mine either. I think it's ours - yours, mine, M@X's, admins', collabs' and non-collabs'.

I'm afraid you will not forget it till the day one of us dies. Smile

I listened to this long time ago and again today and I can swear it's Indie and not Neo-Prog, in every publication out there they call them an Indie band?

http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=48955

I just got a message from progresssaurus letting me know this is a bootleg, I'm not sure if he is right or wrong, so please check into it...

Mayer, it's beyond our competence. You can contact Neo Prog Team, but please note that there is no Indie genre on PA.

I think that's true because no info on the band's website, no info on Amazon and eBay. Only some download blogs offer it.
By the way, before adding a single CD sounding 2 hours you could think that something's not quite right. Smile

I'll ask admins to delete it.

^Fixed it.

The site is set up in a really weird way if something from a review can mess up the rest of it.

Having listened to the rather excellent Not The Weapon But The Hand, the 2012 collaboration between Steve Hogarth and Richard Barbieri, an album I reviewed not long after its release, I believe that the site should re categorise this album, and the 2014 EP Arc Light, as a joint project between the two, and not as Steve Hogarth solo albums, as they presently are on the site.

I am aware that the usual protocol is to make a new artist suggestion on the site, but I cannot really see the point. I was the collaborator who suggested Hogarth as a solo artist in the first place, and I do not think that there is any doubt that this project belongs on the archives, nor much doubt that it would qualify for the sub genre we have the albums under, namely Crossover.

Is there any chance of this anomaly being addressed, please? These albums are not a Hogarth solo venture, with Barbieri guesting, but a genuine collaboration, and we should reflect this.

Cheers.

^ Hogarth is on PA: http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=5104, Barbieri not (at least now). The only "legal" way to present the album on PA was to add it to Hogarth discography.

The rest is as you say, "the usual protocol is to make a new artist suggestion on the site", no matter can we see the point or not. Otherwise we'll get "anarchy in the UK".

By the way, links would be helpful, please give them in future.

Consider the Source's Progarchives page:
http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=5264
Consider the Source's current discography:
http://considerthesourcemusic.com/source/discography/

Consider the Source's album list is not up to date. The albums F**k It! We’ll Do It Live – Volume 1 and Volume 2 as well as World War Trio (Part 1) are missing. Parts 2 and 3 of World War Trio are also coming out on June 2, 2015.

Please update when you get the chance. Thanks!

^ As any registered PA member you can add missing albums by yourself.

This http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=73146&PID=3942757#3942757 can help to do it according to the site rules.

^ OK.

From the moment the AFT utility was shared by its author, historian9, it saves a lot of our time. It calculates total time of the album and formats track list according to PA guidelines. Very simple and efficient.

Unfortunately the link in mentioned thread is dead, but you can download it here: https://mega.co.nz/#!J9kmiKhC!b_auuURtu9UNqkbtGVIuaAy0yIeGNoJbqOxXCDV-BD8

As I said also in a PM, there are countless bands in the Neo team (as well as in other genres) that do not fitexactly in the description, the majority of them were taken where they are now because other teams were not accepting them.Personally and unfortunately I do not have the time anymore to scan and listen to all these occasions (even if i've made a couple of such statements in the past for confusing entries) and correct all past faults, as for Duster Indie Rock is a non-existing genre here, so any such suggestion for change or even removing them would cause an endless turmoil of different thoughts between team members', which I've become pretty tired of being part of, since the band is already added (way before I was a member of the team).Past members decided and said this was the right choice.I say leave it as it is.

I'm not sure bands always bother to point out is it an album or EP.
Your understanding makes sense, but, from the other hand, 34 minute long digital only release by 2010 standards is rather an EP. I prefer to leave it in EPs.

It's like Page - Plant instead of Jimmy Page and Robert Plant.

I don't mind to change the name to "Tony Patterson and Brendan Eyre", but in this case the duo will be placed under T. I don't think it would serve for good.
And it's more a question to Crossover Team.
