Thanks guys, but I still need to discover the current electronic scene (The Orb, Venetian Snares, Aphex Twin...) and my hip-hop collection limits to one CD (Cypress Hill's 'III - temples of Boom').

And yes, indeed, I can skip easily from gregorian chant to Behemoth...

By the way, Alex, I discovered recently Maria Tanase...Great voice to say the least !

^ That's nice to know, she's great! She's the most famous singer in Romanian history, though not everyone likes her because she has gypsy influences in her singing. If you want original CDs with her (I doubt they can be found here) I can order from Romania and give them to you.

New Power and the Glory vinyl, with a 7 inch single inside. I know, I already have it on vinyl, but I'm obsessed!

wow, you must really LOVE this album !

I bought recently a 6-CD box of Lucio Battisti's work, despite I already owned one of the CDs (but I couldn't resist buying the 6-CD box as it costed only 20 euros).
Matt did the same with a 7-CD box of Henry Threadgill.

Lucas, did you not know me and GentleGiant are this site's greatest GG fans? I should take a photo of my shrine and upload it someday. Also, if anybody's interested, I'm selling my old copy!

Haken - Aquarius

I got this at the weekend and I can't stop listening to it. The track 'Celestial Elixir' is brilliant.

I just downloaded the highest ranked album on the PA list that I did not have in my collection.  Also, one of my first forays in to the world of RPI:

And a newer release that has worked its way in to the top 100:

Is he the son of Jacques, another french drummer who released some avant-garde/prog jazz albums in the seventies, among which this very weird one :

you can listen to a song of this album here :
