It's more like I listen to decades, rather than genres. Like 90's, because that's the music i grew up on.
Grunge (and post-grunge, or alt-rock), Alternative, and Jazz. For example, Our Lady Peace, Metric, and John Coltrane.

Well obviously there were probably one or two people who voted for opera 55 times. I voted for classical, which lately I've been listening to more than prog (Not that it will ever come close to it)

Punk, Post-Punk, 80s indie (stuff on the Rough Trade and 4AD labels
especially), some 80's pop, some world music, some folk, some jazz,
60s psyche pop/rock, and probably more, but those are what I can think of right now.

After prog, 60s psych & classic rock probably comes next, as well a lot of classic 70s hard rock bands ...
Also a lot of folky stuff ... either singer-songwriters or folk-rock, have a bit of classic jazz albums (mainly by keyboard fronted bands) ...
Also have around 40-50 reggae albums, 40-50 blues albums, 40-50 Motown/Soul/Funk albums,
A fair amount of classical stuff too ...
Music really plays a huge part in my life ...

75% what I hear is prog or prog-related.
The other 25% are mainly Brazilian modern music, like Milton Nascimento, Caetano Veloso, Djavan, also a bit of bossa nova with Jobim & Co. or some 'classical' stuff (Wagner, Prokofiev, etc) and 60s & 70s classic rocks (Byrds, Stones, Who, Beatles, America, Cream).
