"Providence" - you never forget your first.
The first time I heard this song it actually left me speechless. There are very few things that have ever done that for me.

Moya - The first song from GY!BE I heard and like so many others here, it left me speechless - completely blown away. I have been a fan ever since hearing this song - there is no other group quite like GY!BE - weird and brilliant!

Which track is it on Lift Yer Skinny Fists that has the recording of
the guy talking about seeing the face of God and going insane?

It's got to be Static, the second track.

Thanks... that's my vote then. I wasn't sure if it was on the first disc or second.
OK, wow. That's downright freaky. I just hit play on random shuffle mode on my iPod, and out of 151 possible tracks...
it was "Static".

Dosed off on this one... Still thinking, I mean.
Hmm, interesting, am I the first one to notice that none of your favorite tracks came from the last release of the group? And yet I find the first recording on that album to be one of the sickest (in a good sense) of them all...

You're not making this easy, are ya? My favorite band. Choosing my favorite song is like having to pick my favorite kid. It isn't nice!!
