The only thing I hate about prog is that no one likes it. Except us..
I hate the way prog is used as a joke, or a way of illustrating how bad the 70' were on those sh!tty top ten programs on Channel 4 (UK)
Apart from that, prog is totally un-cool, nerdish, pretentious, ponderous, pompous music played by failed middle class jazz musicians who got involved with the wrong crowd at university and took too much acid
But thats never stopped me from liking it

Oi. I just thought of something.
The days we'll soon spend mourning Prog musicians who have passed on.
The old cursed lot.

I hate the way obsessive fans keep going on and on and on about prog in online forums and endlessly debating what it is and who was the best keyboard player and what's the best album cover and how if you listen to 2112 after 15 bongs everything suddenly makes pefect sense and saying how much better genesis were with peter gabriel and how jon anderson's lyrics really do mean something and the nurse telling me its time for my medication

I was thinking about how you guys are going on and on about how prog is great - Is there anything you hate about it?
I hate how the albums are hard to find, and expensive too... sigh.

I hate everything about prog. Prog sucks. This is one of the reasons why I have almost 3,000 prog albums. I am a a masochist. I force myself against my better judgement to listen to this crap. My dogs try to stop me from putting King Crimson, Gentle Giant and Yes albums on the turntable but the Rigby Nitro Express shotgun sort of frightens them away. Yeah, prog sucks.

I hate all of it. It's my least favorite genre ever. That's why I listen to it all the time -- incidentally, I'm also a masochist.

The thing i hate most about prog? quite honestly fans of it claiming that it is more complex than any other type of music. and that they are all as pompus and self aggrandizing as I am.
