Both tracks are fit to deprive an album of its masterpiece status, but if I have to choose between these two, I vote for Providence. Providence can still be called music somehow, whereas Moonchild is 10 minutes of useless jingle-jangle on toys after the vocals have stopped.

By the way, I like the first two or three minutes of Moonchild.

Providence is far from bad, but it feels a little out of place to me. (and no, not because it's live) Moonchild is slightly better in my opinion so I'm going with that.

I find Moonchild to be fresher and more original.

I don't remember any of these tracks.
I guess they are not on the albums I have?

I like both. I like Providence much more.

Providence for sure, though I do agree with the earlier comment that it's far from the best of the band's live improvs. Maybe they felt it was the one that segued best into Starless.
