What did you think of it? I think it's better than I expected, they moved from the typical Stoner Rock sound and made more energic and livelier music, it's probably because of the new bassist. It also has a so much better production Thumbs Up

By the way, I didn't see Black Rainbows yesterday, the organizers changed the schedule the day before and I couldn't go that late. All because of a stupid football game Thumbs Down

Yesterday:
Brian Reitzell - Auto Music
Jacula - In Cauda Semper Stat Venenum
Renaissance - A Song For All Seasons
Michael Brückner - Two Letters From Crimea

^^  I agree that they kicked it up a notch on this one and they pulled it off very well.
The guitarist uses the distorted fuzz in a way that adds to the overall intensity and basically sets the tone for the rest of the band to follow. The vocals blend nicely rather than trying to stand out which supports your comment on better production. They add a few short psyche/space accents that help move their sound beyond typical stoner rock.
The only problem I have with this album is that I haven't received my copy yet. I pre-ordered the light blue vinyl version from the label when it first became available.

BTW, that sucks about the Black Rainbows.   Thumbs Down Thumbs Down

^ I noticed that when I saw them last year, the guitar sounded quite different, in a good way Thumbs Up
It's officially out only next week, maybe they didn't send it yet. I'm waiting for them to announce a concert near me to buy it... and see them again of course Tongue

^  Definitely in a good way. I listen to a lot of bands in this style and they are one of my favorites.

I ordered through Small Stone Records. I've bought a few albums from them and they're pretty reliable.
I had 5/6 as the original release date but I guess it's been changed.

I'm glad you enjoyed that Unreal City album Thumbs Up
Speaking of Vivaldi, I was wondering the other day if there's Classical music on Blu ray, that would be sweet Approve

Lol. Sorry Sam! You got shafted on the 'love' on that one. Highest regards, you know I hold ya in.
Also, there is tons of classical music on blu-ray!!
Actually, that Vivaldi disc I mentioned is on blu-ray (24/88khz)
Resolution.
Berliner Philharmonic has all kinds of hi res classical blu-rays.
Actually, the great conductor Simon Rattle is releasing a 10 cd box set with 2 blu-ray pure audio discs of his work on conducting Beethoven's symphonies 1 through 9. :)
It's expensive, but I might pull the trigger on it some day.
Oh and yes. Unreal city? Simply Unreal. Very well done. I cannot decide which of their 2 albums I enjoy more or which I think is better. Albums are so similar in structure and style, but it's a beautiful formula that works.

Today's love.

APP-- Eve
APP-- I Robot
Oceans of slumber-- Winter
Hanz Zimmer & John Newton-- the Dark Knight
Fughu-- Human: The Facts
Eden House-- Bad men
Eden House-- Still Life
Public Enemy-- man Plans God Laughs
The Nefilim-- Zoon

Good to know. I'd rather have a few Classical discs on blu ray than having those huge box sets on CD LOL

One thing I always thought could be very improved on the debut was the guitar and it sure did on Paese, much better technique and tone. It also has more mature compositions and production (on the debut there is a time discrepancy on some guitar and bass tracks on a few spots, I don't know if you noticed). I'm certainly not bashing it, it's still a very impressive debut Smile

Yellow Magic Orchestra - s/t
Haruomi Hosono - Pacific

^^  I'll listen to Colours today.
I was curious about the apostrophe myself.
BTW, on the Colours album cover there is no apostrophe (?).

^  There's not much info out there.
I just learned five minutes ago that it's one guy who sings, plays all of the instruments and produces in his home studio. Who knew?
