No, not really but I have a friend from Chile. He lives here for a year and then a year in Chile...He really is into football (just like me) and supports "Colo Colo" and is of course following the Copa...

As you know I'm from Perú and I went to see the first to Peruvian gemes to the stadium, the third one was far from Lima.

Probably we'll loose with Argentina because we don't have forward players. Our stupid coach only called 4 (but he called 3 goalis who can be changed for others if injured), Pizarro had the accident, Farfan has two yellow cards and Maestri is injured.

Only Mendoza is left but he has failled 23 goals in this tournament and the as**le said to the press "I make Goals only whre they pay me better". With that kind of players only a miracle and nobby Solano can save us.

Probably Autori will have to dress a goalie as forward and make him play.

making music (the guitars, basses, keys, other bits
and bobs and the technology), reading (modern
literature mostly and a lot of non-fiction plus the odd
pulp novel to lighten the load), Movies, Football,
Formula One, just back into computer games after
about 10 years - my they're fun now! - and lots and
lots of travel - it went with the job for about six years
and i still get incredibly itchy feet (but I'm seeking
medical advice or a decent powder for that)
anything else? food and wine, i loooove to cook and
looove to drink decent wine even more. plenty of
other things i dip in and out of depending on mood

Pissing about on stupid Prog Rock forums.

Listening to music.

Beer and red wine.

Football-mainly as a spectator these days.

Watching most sport on TV.

Reading-mainly non-fiction these days. I particularly enjoyed NP's "Traveling Music".

LISTENING TO MUSIC

Browsing t'internet.

Hiking.

Going to the gym (go every lunchtime from work but I'm still a fat bastard)

Gadgets-I love all kinds of electrical gadgets: Mp3 players, HiFi components, Personal PC, installing ever quicker DVD writers on my PC, Cinema surround sound ( my wife wont let me get the full caboudle:reciever with 7.1 surround and big eff-off speakers cluttering the living room ( or the Bachelor Pad as she calls it)
Even my PC has 6.1 surround speakers and Audigy Platinum Soundcard.

Supporting Manchester United Football Club.

And-I'll have to admit it-on Monday nights I play for a Quiz Team in a Quiz league(Embarrassed)

Smile

God we're boring. where's the: 'oh right now, i'm learning mandarin chinese as i plan to mount an expedition to the foothills of the tian shan mountains to prospect for adamantium to upgrade my claws and then I might just possibly attempt to climb mount everest weraing nothing but boxer shorts and a smile'.

Instead, it's football, pub quizzes and the occasional adventure to the indian for a night of cultural edgniness.

Christ, I'm bored.

its funny, i hardly have time to listen to music. i hang out with my friends constanlty, going to parties and getting messed up mostly. i have work almost every day, and i cant listen to music( expect abient like td!) when im doing my homework because its to distracting for me. i actually only get about 2 hours of listen to music a week these days.. This is probly because my 100 dollar cd player got broke( at one of my huge parties of course!) and i havent gotten a new one yet! hehe!

Hobbies? Well I'm a musician like a lot of the guys (and some girls) here. I used to be in a prog band called Freefall in the 80's who supported everyone from Ark through Jadis to IQ (Geoff Mann was nice too). I got lucky and was able to play as a session man for some years. I've played in Germany, France, America and even Estonia (a great country and great people).

These days, the music has returned to the level of a hobby and me and a few mates have got together a new prog band called Tinyfish which is fantastic fun. We don't expect anything from it but we laugh all the time which is better than being super serious.

Best hobby I ever had.
