Rel. May 1997. Rec. 1996 1997. Really surprised I only have two of his albums on CD after all of these years.

Recorded 1997 Mar.-May. Pat Metheny Group Imaginary Day.  There's also a live DVD of the tour for this album that's really good as well...

Recorded 1997 Jan.-Jun. I lost interest in Genesisocide after Invisible Tourch. I quit replacing my LPs with CDs after Abacrabs. I had some money to burn in 2004 and decided to give this one a try because it was dirt cheap used. It's not bad. I've heard that We Can't Dance has some proggy tracks on it. Not in any hurry for that one...

Genesis Calling All Stations album cover

If you've been following my excursion through 1997 you'll find a lot of stuff I was listening to at the time instead of this. And a few artists I did not discover until the next decade like Stereolab and Primus...

Tangerine Dream Purgatorio on YouTube. The Dante Song Collection grew on me enough to dare to listen to it and I've now given in and ordered a copy on CD. It sounds much better with the tracks running together in the proper sequence and I can't help but think many synth pop tunes would have been greatly enhanced by taking their lyrics from Dante Big smile.
