Agree with pretty much everything that has been posted ecpecialy all thos new indie "ultra boring" bands that the musical press right now cant seem to stop talk abot and acting liek its the only music that exist right now ignoring all great new prog bands. And one thing more i agree that Elton john has been crap allmost all his life but his 1970-75 period was actualy very good i like thos stuff after that though hes been horrible with 1 good song coming out ever 10 year or so. Gues thats what hapens when you get rich and lazy.

Elton John bores me, too. All the buzz here in town is that he's the first concert in our brand new Sprint Center when it's completed. Big deal!!!

I can't stand cheesy metal bands like Dream Theatre and Symphony X.

That said I do like the odd cheesy 80's metal band in the 'whoah totally righteous dude' kinda way.

For me, it begins and ends with Lynryd Skynyrd, if that's how you spell their stupid name.

Remember the movie, The Blues Brothers?

LS should be the house band, playing behind the chicken wire with beer bottles getting fired at them.

LS makes other southern rockers sound like Mozart. I wish they had never left their trailer park, and stumbled into a recording studio.

I'd rather listen to a jackhammer work its way through concrete than LS. I'd rather have a root canal with a pair of pliers, without novocaine.

As soon as one of their "songs" come on, it's instant channel change on the XM. Wham!
Bring me my broadsword, and clear understanding.

So many terrible bands nowadays...

nickelback... saliva (I LOATHE saliva, especially their singer).... I would rather scald my genitals with a starbucks halfcafmochawhatzitccino than listen to hawthorne heights...

there are many more, but having mentioned those three I'm already feeling the urge to vomit...

With that 'normal people vs elitists' reasoning you can get rid of pretty much all music, maybe except gangsta hip-hop and Magma.

IMHO I think that the RHCP are so past their prime and I out grew them years ago, hence I can't stand them now.
