20 more albums I could think of, again I excluded Animals and Wind & Wuthering, otherwise all votes would go to them.

I wanted to add some Tangerine Dream but I could not make up my mind of the 3 albums I know of (Stratosfear, Cyclone and Force Majeure).

Also could not decide betwwen Alan Parsons Project first two albums, which are both excellent.
Also Brand X was hard to choose as well, I thought of them.

I wonder if the lesser known albums, little gems will get any votes/appreciation.

if I forgot an album you find essential, it can only mean 2 things: first that i am forgetful LOL, and second is that I do not know it (and I'm sure I might not know a few). Kindly mention it, after all, I live and learn. Smile

Apparently you saved the best for the last. I give the edge to Still Life just above Hemispheres - and I would do so even if Animals and Wind and Wuthering were included. Eloy and Kansas are also good.

I'll go with Novella here. Probably would go for Tangerine Dream is Stratosfear was included. And I hate to say but yes, had Genesis been included here I would have voted for them :D

Fluid Druid.

I met the band many times and loved their music. They were so much more than the Yes clones some describe them as.

Grobschnitt gets my vote, although I can't believe that Hemispheres is so far behind.

Hemispheres, followed by Heavy Horses. (A lot of "H"s there . . .)
Welcome to the middle of the film.
