I thought of you, Austin, when he posted that. I remember you saying how good it is. I've never really delved into Echo much (I used to own Crocodiles in the pre-CD era) but I like what I know. I'll try that one next time I come across it.
I'll see if I can get my hands on Crocodiles and Porcupine then. I don't like Ocean Rain that much though, perhaps because that orchestrated baroque pop aesthetic isn't really my thing and I think it kind of sounds awkward wedded to that style of goth/new-wave.
(at least Siouxsie and the Banshees somehow pulled it much more gracefully on A Kiss in the Dreamhouse, though)

Me, I'm still listening to some Noise. Believe it or not, this is good music to work at my desk to, so long as I keep the volume down for fear of scaring my co-workers.
Yeah: 'Girlfriends', 'neighbours' or 'co-workers' and 'my music' is rarely a good match. The Graaf is at insanely loud volume but on the headphones right now.
[headbang]
One time at work (if you've heard this story before, stop me) I had my headphones on listening to "Universal Totem Orchestra" (a Zeuhl group) and asked that nobody bother me so I could really concentrate on a difficult project I was working on. No one bothered me but I could tell they were milling around me, wondering whether to interrupt me or not. I took off my headphones AND THE MUSIC WAS BLASTING THROUGH THE COMPUTER SPEAKERS TOO. oops
