There's something almost operatic about this album in how the music has a much stronger sense of narrative structure than the other albums of Schulze's I've heard. (which aren't that many yet, since his music requires a very high degree of concentration to listen to)

THE GOLDEN PALOMINOS - s/t (1983)
Went and bought some records today. Never heard the whole album before now. This is Anton Fier's band (orig drummer for the Feelies), a revolving cast supergroup. This album is heavily in the avant-funk category with Bill Laswell, Arto Lindsay, Fred Frith, and John Zorn each appearing on most of the tracks, with Fier and Lindsay co-composing most of the material. Ha! Material. Pun not intended.
