It is when I can manage it, a house with a 1 year-old, a 3 year-old and a 4 year-old is not a place that it can be done consistently :(

I would love to be able to write and read music.  I just never had any real interest as a kid to learn an instrument and with work and real life it is just a pipe dream these days.

I went out and bought a new Sony receiver with 7.2 surround sound and blue tooth capabilities.  And nothing has gone right since.  I went to watch cable TV today and I get nothing...I tried fiddling around with the cables and still nothing.  So I said screw it, I'll watch a video, at least that has been working.  Nope.  Nothing coming out of the stereo speakers, just the TV.  It is supposed to have internet capabilities but I've yet to figure out how that works, and the instructions are complete sh*t.  I thought that I had hooked it up to the TV so that it would have video capabilities...but nothing.  God I now know how my parents feel when they are trying to figure out how to use a remote control.

On the box, it says that it is "Easy to set-up".  I must have missed the fine print that said "if you are a studio engineer."
