Fair 'nuff. It's definitely my tamest with very little avant tendencies.
Maybe that's why I'm a little lukewarm on it. My two favorites from you, Decease Estates and One in the Flood, are a bit more on the avant side, more or less.

I have. It's pretty great. And long.

I drove to Cleveland last Sunday to see my friend play viola with the Suburban Orchestra.  I usually make it out once per season.  It was a pretty decent performance.

 Sunday, May 17, 2015 at 3:30 pm.
(The auditorium will open for seating beginning at 2:45 pm.)

Hollings: Sinfonia
(World Premiere)

Mendelssohn: Violin Concerto
Johnny Lee, violin

Copland: Quiet City
Eric Dina, trumpet
Jeff Kish, English horn

Tchaikovsky: Marche Slav

There isn't too much "scary screaming" on their other releases either...at least not that I remember.  Is there more on the new album?

No, there is a song with Ihsahn like usual but otherwise the same kind of vox.

Tall Poppy Syndrome and Bilateral, I would say Bilateral since it was Scott's post about it that got me into them.

^It's hip-hop played by some of the best jazz musicians today, if that makes it any better.
