Despite its legendary status - and it does have some wonderful moments I find BSS patchy. LTIA is not perfect by any means but it is the better of the 2 for me.

LTIA.  This is one of the best LPs of the genre.

I love BSS, and saw that tour twice (saw LTIA once), but there is no comparison.

This, but with 2 pounds of cheese on top of 3 pounds of pasta.

BSS less groundbreaking, doesn't reveal that much on ELP.

LTIA has both exceptional agility + red/white-hot iron nerve. The sections in LTIA I should be rewritten so as to fit better together....

LTIA but I'd prefer to go to ELP shows!!

When it comes to rating the music, I'll go with Lark's Tongues in Aspic.
When it comes to clever and quirky album titles, I'll declare it a tie.

LTIA by a mile.

I never got into BSS. Much prefer Trilogy, Tarkus and the debut. But KC win out overall anyway imo.
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

Both classics and perhaps the best by each artist overall.  BSS for me though. Someone's got to give some love for ELP.

BSS is a masterpiece. One of the best prog albums of all time.
LTIA is not even in my King Crimson Top 5
Two random guys agreed to shake hands. Just Because. They felt like it, you know. It was an agreement of sorts...a random agreement.
