As much as I liked the Miasma album it doesn't come close to the Plague.

Same here, Miasma are wonderful but no chance against Thinking Plague, probably top 3 modern band for me.

Miasma, really good. Couldn't get into "In Extremis" yet, though that might change in the future.

Thinking Plague, In Extremis.

When he rides, my fears subside. For darkness turns once more to light. Through the skies, his white horse flies. To find a land beyond the night.

After much Achillean angsting, I've decided to give it to Perils, since they are the underdog; everybody already knows how much of a crowning achievement of avant-prog In Extremis is.

Same here ! I also have to admit I find Perils somewhat more enjoyable. Thinking Plague are undeniably great, but their music demands a lot from the listener.
