Wow, unexpected
I've been let down in Hinch. Thought he was gunna be big a few years ago.

Honestly I think he's done better in Indycar than I've expected, his junior career wasn't exactly stellar. He's done well for Schmidt Peterson, almost as well as Pagenaud did for them and look how he's going at the moment, and he was closer to RHR than the other Andretti drivers were.

Very true. Guess I just remember that 3 win year and just waiting for him to turn the consistency corner and figured he'd break out. And cool to see RHR up in 2nd, Helio is up there too, Power...it's like a classic Indy lineup now Good result for Townsend Bell, (he's still around???) and Josef Newgarden.

And Montoya starts 12th. He won from 15th last year.

Excellent point.
Not sure who I'm pulling for. Would be cool to see Newgarden or RHR take it, I guess Josef since RHR already has one. Would always be happy to see JPM win it, or Helio taking #4 would tie him for the all time lead. Guess long as it's a good race, I won't be disappointed

Think Nico can make 4 in a row at Monaco?
Edit: Just checked the results, Ricciardo on pole. Cool, kinda forgot about that guy since the epic year when he thrashed Vettel

Pritty epic lap from Ricciardo to take the poll, and Hulk performed really well to get 5th and split the Ferrari's.

Also an interesting tactic from Ricciardo to start on the super soft.

Yeah I missed that result, very impressive. Hulk has always been quick, and we know Monaco is a show off of true skill, Sainz is also up there in 7th and Alonso managed to drag his McLaren to 10th

Ugh.
I guess it happened during the morning warm up session. Andrew Palmer confirmed with head injuries and no update on Jorge De La Torre as of yet.

Who's getting ready for the 100th? About to arrive at the track, there's an insane amount of people here. There's supposed to be around 350 to 400 thousand people. It's gonna be a good'un.

Hehe, if you ever get the chance to experience Indy, take it man. Phone pic of the front stretch. Our seats are straight across from Hinch's pit right up in the middle. Still amazed at how many more people there is here than last years, there's still two hours to go till the race and there's more people in the stands now than there was during the race last year.

Well I did say I had a feeling Lewis wins Monaco. Nico in 7th ouch, but good result for Perez, Alonso, Sainz and both McLarens making the points!
Damn that's awesome man. Would love to see Indy just for the experience of it. Hope ya enjoyed man!
WOW! Congrats to Alex Rossi! What a person to win the 100th running. Munoz and Newgarden finish the podium, I like it.

Absolutely awesome race. Sad about all the Penske troubles, and the little accident on the pit lane that ended Townsend's and RHR's chances for winning. Sage Karam crashes unsurprisingly. Takuma Sato crashes unsurprisingly.
But absolutely awesome finish, congrats to Rossi, what a finish! Newgarden, Kanaan, Munoz, Hinch, all drove a superb race.

Rossi! Well, I didn't see that coming.
Excellent GP as well, Red Bull lost Ricciardo the race but amazing to see Perez on the podium, though I wonder why FI gave him pitstop priority when Hulkenberg was a few places ahead early on? Rosberg only seventh, being passed at the line for 6th and nearly a lap down on Lewis.

Poor Hulk, never getting what he deserves
Yeah, quite a top 10 really from Indy with Kanaan, Kimball, Hildebrand and Bourdais in there. Shame about JPM.
OH! And poor result from Pagenaud but seems he'll get away with it since Helio only managed 11th, Dixon 8th.
I ragged on Hinch a bit ago, that I thought he's underwhelmed in his career vs my expectations, he's having quite a solid year so far, 4th straight top 10
